New SDE Subsidy Awards

We are delighted to have been awarded three SDE subsidy awards for our geothermal projects in Bleiswijk and Zoetermeer.

This is a great step forward in increasing geothermal’s share in the renewable energy mix in The Netherlands - and towards a more sustainable future.

Geothermal offers sustainable, year-round, uninterrupted heating, which - along with the other renewable energy sources - will help significantly decarbonise The Netherlands, which is currently behind its Net Zero targets.

We are delighted for the subsidy awards and are looking forward to be announcing our drilling program soon.

85 Degrees Renewable will have its own stand at this year’s European Geothermal Congress event - taking place in Berlin, Germany - starting on Monday, 17th October 2022. We would be delighted to meet you there.
